Napa Stone

These clients were struggling. Every year their lawnwas dying due to a  big liquidambar tree (Liquidambar styraciflua) dropping those "spike balls" everywhere. After throwing around some ideas, Matt provided a quick sketch and photo examples. Matt and the clients determined that a technical plan was not needed.

For this project Matt hand selected low or no water natives and similar plants including salvias, lamondra, echinacea, achillea, festuca, agastache. Over 80% of the plants installed provide for local wildlife and require minimal maintenance. All the irrigation was also redone and retrofitted to insure effective and efficient care for the new landscaping.
